Apartment Tour

Alright, I finally have acceptable pictures of our apartment, so here's the tour....

Our apartment building
Apartment 308

What you see when you walk in. We think the
garbage cans are a nice touch, too.
To the left when you walk in.

Luckily those horns made it all the way to Colorado.
To the right when you walk in/Entrance

Wedding Pictures :)
Kitchen. Obviously.

First room on the left when you walk down the hallway.
This is where Brandon studies and gets smart.
And where our guests stay.
Brandon's inspiration: Muhammad Ali.
Next room on the left...our bedroom.

Our vows.
Walk-in closet behind the door with the hanger.
Turn right at the end of the hallway,
and you get to our teeny-tiny bathroom.
Told ya.

View from our apartment...those are the mountains
way in the distance.
Hope you liked the tour! Come visit us!

California 37

On Wednesday night we headed up to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre to see Ilissa's favorite band, Train. It was an incredible experience! The weather was perfect (as it usually is in Colorado) and seeing a concert there is just amazing. Despite the many comments Pat Monahan made about not being able to breathe, he did a great job and put on a good show, as usual.

At one point during the show, he asked a girl to help him sing his song "Bruises." He needed someone who knew all of the words, which I obviously do. Unfortunately, I was too far away for him to see me and my voice probably isn't exactly what he was looking for. I've been practicing the song every day so that I won't miss my next opportunity. Maybe I'll even look into getting some voice lessons. :)

Beautiful setting!
You can see the lights of Denver in the distance.

We tried to get the stage behind us....didn't exactly work.
Drops of Jupiter

Here are a few videos if you're interested in watching! Obviously, they don't sound as great as when you're there in person, but they're better than nothing!

So basically if you ever have the chance to see a concert at Red Rocks,  you better go! You will not regret it. Look for our next post - it will be a tour of our apartment!
