This post is definitely a little over due, but we wanted to share some of the things we got to do when the weather was still warm (which was technically until yesterday, but we'll just focus on Summer for now). We've had so much fun exploring all of the different (free) things there are to do around us! Here are some of our favorites:
We went to the town of Golden a few times to float down the river in tubes. It takes about 40 minutes, depending on where you get in, and there are even some small rapids that you go over. We love it!

I now only live an hour and a half from my bff, Shawna, which is obviously one of my favorite things about living here! She lives near Breckenridge, in Frisco, and we see each other every couple of weeks. I love it. :)

We had the opportunity to go to a Broncos pre-season game against the 49ers with some friends. It was fun to see Peyton Manning play....I think we probably sweated off about 25 pounds while watching the game, though.
We have really enjoyed hiking, even if we don't go all the way to the mountains. A few weeks before we went to the Train concert, we went for a hike around the Red Rocks Amphitheater.

We also went to the Denver Botanic Gardens. They had so many different flowers blooming, even though it was the end of summer! It was beautiful!
We're definitely looking forward to next summer!
